EMMA
Emma is joining us as an intern from Cleveland University-Kansas City to continue to learn conservative and evidence-based chiropractic care. Emma is passionate about helping others lead active, healthy lifestyles and is dedicated to promoting mobility and independence for individuals of all ages. She understands that chiropractic care goes beyond the fun “cracks and pops” everyone loves to hear but understanding how the body moves in response to one’s environment.
Emma grew up on a farm in Marshall, Missouri where she enjoyed taking care of the animals, riding around in the tractor with her dad, and helping her grandma in the garden. As she entered high school, she found her passion in tennis and fitness whether it be swimming, strength training, or biking. She decided to continue her education at the University of Missouri where she interned as an undergraduate at Focus on Health and decided to pursue her chiropractic career. She graduated from Mizzou in May 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences with an emphasis in Rehabilitation Sciences and started her chiropractic journey at Cleveland University. When she isn’t studying, Emma loves bike riding, fishing (but only if she catches something within 20 minutes), and being with her family.
Emma truly believes that movement is medicine and plays a major role in one’s physical health and more importantly mental health. She looks forward to educating and caring for her future patients, helping them better understand their bodies and the importance of movement in their overall well-being.
